Looking for an aerial activity near Gap, Champsaur and Valgaudemar?

Discover the via ferrata “Le Grand Frisson” at the Barrage du Sautet. This is a majestic route with no major technical difficulties: you climb above the Gorges du Drac, downstream from the dam site, with a beautiful view over the Lac du Sautet, between Isère and the Hautes-Alpes. An exceptional, wild setting, a breathtaking view and some great footbridges.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET :

  • Location: Corps (border with Isère / Route Napoléon RN85 / Hautes Alpes)
  • From : 10 years.
  • Duration: 2h45 in the via (allow half a day).
  • Approach time: 10 minutes.
  • Equipment provided: harness with lanyards, helmet and group equipment.
  • What to bring: sportswear, jacket, sports shoes or hiking boots, energy food (cereal bars, dried fruit, etc.) and a bottle of water.
  • Price: From €45 for individuals (please contact us for other prices or special requests).

Difficulty: Ideal for thrill-seekers.

  • 100 metres high.
  • Tyrolean traverse 100m long / 120m high (not compulsory).

Activity location

  • Activity available from June to September.
  • Schedules are subject to availability.
  • You can indicate your preference when making an appointment.
  • You will then receive full details of your activity (address, contact details and practical information).
  • In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, the activity will simply be postponed or cancelled.
  • Bring your sports shoes, a backpack with water bottle and a snack.
  • You’ll meet the guide and other participants at the specified location (see map provided): our BE instructor will welcome you and fit you out.
  • All equipment required for the activity will be provided and explained:
    • via ferrata: helmets, harnesses, dynamic lanyards
    • canyoning: neoprene wetsuits, helmets, harnesses
    • The equipment complies with CE standards and is inspected before each use.
  • The various stages of the activity and safety rules will be explained to you before you set off (briefing).
